Starting to do some fill and grading around the foundation now. The fill is almost up to the garage door now. You can still see our shiny new well cap out front. We decided to put it where it would be easily accessible if we ever needed to get to it (flashbacks to tearing out our last back deck...). It'll be filled and landscaped eventually.

Lot Cleared!

That's our lot, with the dirt. If you look hard you can see water!! We were able to keep a few birch trees, fingers crossed they survive as they've grown up surrounded.
It's been a busy week of getting quotes and doing permit applications, lot getting clear cut and cleaned up today. Tonight mom and dad went up and spray painted out the house for the excavator tomorrow! Things are really moving along!
