Slice banana lengthwise, cut 2 slits at the ends and open the banana. Stuff with chocolate chips, marshmallows and coconut. Wrap in tin foil and put into embers for 5-7 minutes. Eat with a spoon!
Haha So you slice the banana lenth wise - cutting from end to end, into the banana a bit (don't chop it in half or anything!). Once you have a long slice, turn the banana and cut a small slice at each end of the longer slice. The idea is to be able to make a door with 2 flaps so you can open it up and stuff yummy things inside like chocolate and coconut!
So once you open the little doors -stuff in the goodness, then sort of close the banana up as best you can and wrap the whole thing in tin foil.
The banana will cook in the embers, after about 5-7 minutes, get it out with some tongs and carefully open the tin foil.
Your banana will have turned mushy on the inside, with your toppings mushed in there too. Open the little doors and scoop out the insides with a spoon!
This sounds too good to pretend I know what you mean. Do you peel, two slits in the end???
ReplyDeleteyummmmm
