These tulips are care of Costco, not my yard. But they do remind me of Grampy's big tulips that always came up along the sides of the house on Greenhead Road. Those were always red and yellow though.
It's really hard to be able to grow tulips in Hamilton, NZ. To get really good blooms we have to lift the bulbs out of the ground and put them in the freezer every year. Jus doesn't et cold enough here.

Shayla bought some of those costco flowers as well. I guess she felt the need to gay up our kitchen or something?
